New Agent Growth Hack: Maximizing Your Largest Source of Business (+ a Customizable "Pop By" Template to Get You Started!)

Agents often overlook their largest source of organic business - their sphere! When thinking about people in your life who could be potential leads, it is easy to start with those in your extended family or social circle. It's important that you don't stop there, though. Think bigger! Your cycle instructor, hair stylist, children's gymnastic coach, and favorite barista are all people that fall under your sphere of influence as a real estate agent.
Why is this "sphere" concept so important? Well, as mentioned previously, the "sphere" is typically a real estate agents' largest source of business. People you already know, like, and trust you are much more likely to do business with you or refer business to you. Let these people know how much they mean to you and remind them that you are there for them if they ever need anything from you! Don't neglect these already-established connections - you want to be the first person that comes to their mind when they consider expert realtors in the area.
A great way to nurture these connections is by treating them to the VIP experience they deserve! This, of course, applies when they are buying/selling a home. In the meantime, though, it is just as important to show them that you care. Customer appreciation events, a birthday message, or a bottle of wine at the holidays can go a long way. These seemingly little gifts will make a huge difference in helping your connections recognize how important they are to you.
One thing we are starting to do in 2022 at The Killinger Group is quarterly "pop by visits" with our customers. Popping by to say hello, have a quick chat, and give them a small token of our appreciation is just another small way we can make them feel loved.
This summer, we are doing a honey-themed pop by using local Pittsburgh honey company. We created a branded tag to attach to these that lists our contact information and adds a personal touch to the gift.
If you're looking for "pop by" ideas, feel free to use our "You're The Sweetest" tag template below.
The template is fully customizable, so you can personalize your own tags and deliver them along with a sweet treat to your favorite customers!
