Upper St. Clair is a suburban community located in Allegheny County, Pennsylvania, United States. It is a primarily residential area known for its high quality of life and excellent school district.

The area now known as Upper St. Clair was originally settled by European immigrants in the late 1700s. In the 1800s, it was a rural farming community, but it began to grow and develop in the early 1900s as more people moved to the area.

One of the most popular features of Upper St. Clair is its variety of community parks, play areas and splash pads. The community has several parks, including Boyce Mayview Park, which offers hiking trails, a playground, and picnic areas, and the Upper St. Clair Community & Recreation Center, which offers and indoor and outdoor pool, great splash area, fitness center, and tennis courts.

 

In addition, there are several shopping centers in the area, as well as fantastic restaurants, wine bar, dessert shops, and workout options. The community is also home to the beautiful St. Clair Country Club.

Upper St. Clair is home to a variety of housing options, including single-family homes, townhouses, and apartments. Many of the homes in the area are custom built with luxury features, and it's not uncommon to find homes with truly unique architecture.  In addition, there are also several exclusive gated communities with larger homes.  It is not the most affordable neighborhood, however, with the median sales price weighing in at almost $500,000.
